Hi, dear
In some actual scenarios, a video surveillance system has been deployed and some network cameras have been installed on the live network. However, the devices are aged and outdated. Therefore, some intelligent analysis functions cannot be implemented. In this case, the existing system needs to be upgraded or reconstructed to meet current users' requirements on intelligent services (such as vehicle recognition).
A common solution is to replace all the legacy cameras with high-end cameras that support intelligent analysis functions. However, this solution costs high and involves heavy delivery workload.
In this case, an intelligent camera that supports master-slave camera surveillance can be introduced to solve the problem. The camera can not only provide intelligent analysis services for its detection area but also perform video stream connection, decoding, intelligent analysis, and intelligent analysis result output for one or more network cameras on the live network through access protocols. In this way, the legacy common cameras can obtain some intelligent analysis capabilities, reducing the costs for reconstructing the legacy system. This solution is also called 1+N.
