1. Application Description


1) Service Description 

In the case that a fault occurs on the network in commercial use, the maintenance engineers need to perform troubleshooting.

- If the fault is minor with a single alarm reported, the maintenance engineer will handle the fault referring to Alarm/Event Help for Controllers or 3900 Series Base Station Alarm/Event Reference. If the fault is simply a hardware fault, rectify it by referring to Controller Site Maintenance Guide.

- If the fault is complex, the maintenance engineer will ***yze equipment logs, alarms, events, and information about the peer equipment according to the standard process provided in the troubleshooting guide to identify causes and troubleshoot the fault quickly and properly. 


Troubleshooting targets:

- Use simple and effective methods to determine the fault scope and locate fault causes. 

- Save fault information for other maintenance engineers to ***yze fault causes and perform quick troubleshooting in the future. 


The following information helps you effectively maintain Huawei equipment and quickly rectify equipment faults:
- Formulate scientific and rational fault handling process based on the troubleshooting guide. In the case of a fault, follow the standard process to handle the fault.
- Faults have different severities, indicating different affected service scopes. You can determine whether to handle the fault by yourself or contact Huawei engineers for help according to the fault severity.

there is eRAN Troubleshooing Guide ,but it's not included in the above description . It will be misunderstood that there iis no doc for LTE.
