The following describes the automatic backup of configuration commands and connection state. -
Configuration command backup When the primary configuration device identifies the dual-system hot backup-related commands, it actively backs up the configuration commands to the secondary configuration device. Then, the secondary configuration device can run these configuration commands. When the primary configuration device and the secondary configuration device are functional, if the automatic real-time backup is started, the primary configuration device sends the configuration command requiring dual-system hot backup to the secondary configuration device. Then the secondary configuration device runs the command. If a command that does not require dual-system hot backup is entered on the primary configuration device, the command is run on the primary configuration device but not transmitted to the secondary configuration device. Commands that are run on the secondary configuration device are not transmitted to the primary configuration device. When the secondary configuration device is not functional or fails, automatic backup cannot be performed. -
Connection state backup When the master has connection state information to be backed up, it automatically backs the information to the backup. Then the backup processes state information. |
