The user-plane data forwarding capability is calculated based on the user-plane traffic model. Table 3-1 describes key parameters in the traffic model. Table 1-1 Key parameters in the user-plane traffic model | Parameter | Parameter Description | Remarks | | Average Downlink and Uplink IP packet size @ BH (Bytes) | Indicates the average size of user-plane packets. | | | Average traffic per attached subscriber @ BH (Kbps) | Indicates the average traffic per attached subscriber in busy hours. | The input for this parameter in the UniSTAR CFG is the traffic per PDP context. The traffic per attached subscriber is calculated based on the traffic per PDP context. | | Average packet size @ BH (Bytes) | Indicates the average size of user-plane packets. | | | Average traffic per HSPA attached subscriber @ BH (Kbps) | Indicates the average traffic per attached HSPA subscriber in busy hours. | The input for this parameter in the UniSTAR CFG is the traffic per PDP context. The traffic per attached subscriber is calculated based on the traffic per PDP context. | |
