The dimension (height x width x depth) of an N68-22/N68E-22 cabinet is 2200 mm x 600 mm x 800 mm (86.61 in. x 23.62 in. x 31.50 in.). The available space inside the cabinet is 46 U (1 U = 44.45 mm = 1.75 in.).

A single cabinet is composed of the power distribution frame, service frame, cable trough, filler panel, rack, guide rail, and back hang fiber coiler. The cabinet adopts -48 V/-60 V DC power supply, conforms to IEC297 standards, and meets the requirement for flexible module configuration.

The cabinet is equipped with a front door and a rear door, to enable device maintenance from both front and back of the cabinet.

The UMG8900 supports multi-frame cascading networking. Multiple cabinets are required in large-capacity networking applications.

UMG8900 Assembly Cabinet

The UMG8900 assembly cabinet adopts standard 19-inch frames. The internal components include power distribution frame (PDF), SSM frame, back fiber management tray (FMT), horizontal wiring trough, and cable trough.

Figure 1 shows the full configuration of internal components of the assembly cabinet.

UMG8900 Extended Assembly Cabinet

The UMG8900 extended assembly cabinet is used when the UMG8900 and the SIWF are in a cabinet.

The internal components include PDF, SSM frame, SIWF, LAN Switch, and LAN Switch cable frame. The LAN Switch works in conjunction with the SIWF. Figure 2shows the full configuration of internal components of the UMG8900 extended assembly cabinet.

UMG8900 High-Density Extended Assembly Cabinet

The UMG8900 high-density extended assembly cabinet is used when the UMG8900 and the SIWF are in a cabinet and not connected through the LAN Switch.

The internal components include PDF, SSM frame, SIWF, and LAN Switch cable frame. Figure 3 shows the full configuration of internal components of the UMG8900high-density extended assembly cabinet.
