A function subset, also known as a measurement set, is a set of measurement units that have certain common attributes. For example, the measurement units CPU Load Measurement and Performance Measurement of Board Memory can be used to measure the performance of hardware. Therefore, these measurement units are classified into a function subset, namely, DEVICE.

In the performance management system, you can group multiple measurement entities that have the same measurement objectives into a measurement unit and then group the measurement units that have certain common attributes into a function subset. Grouping multiple measurement entities and measurement units facilitates the performance measurement.
