Hardware Structure

Figure 1 shows the physical structure and connections of the UGC3200.

The subracks of the UGC3200 are directly connected to each other. The principles for interconnection between subracks are as follows:

• All the network cables used for interconnection between subracks are connected to subrack 0# which is the basic subrack.
• Ethernet communication is set up on both the Fabric and Base planes to implement dual-plane Ethernet communication.

Table 1 presents the network cable connections between subracks.
