This section describes how to add or delete routes on the cluster system. By adding or deleting routes on the cluster system, you can set up or delete the routes from the local network to multiple target networks. The configuration takes effect on all boards. If you have configured the routes for other products, you do not need to perform the configuration on the Nastar side again.

Prerequisites

  • You have logged in to the OSMU system using a web browser.
  • You have prepared information about the routes to be configured, such as the destination IP addresses, gateways, and subnet masks.

Procedure

  1. Choose Service System > Service Management > Board Services from the navigation tree in the left pane.
  2. Check board status in the board list to ensure that all boards meet the following requirements.

Each board must be in one of the following states:

    • Switching Over
    • Normal
    • Service Stopped
    • Standby

If a board is not in one of the preceding states, the system may be faulty. In this case, rectify the fault first to enable the board to be in one of preceding states. Then perform the following operations. If the fault persists, contact Huawei technical support engineers for assistance.

  3. Choose Device Management > Hardware Device > Route from the navigation tree in the left pane.
