“BBU optical module transmit receive fault” alarm Troubleshooting in RRU Site

We need to check the following steps:

1. At first we need to check the RRU is getting power or not.

2. Also have need to check the voltage in power cable by multi meter, it must be

minimum -48V dc.

3. If RRU is getting power then we need to check the CPRI cable. If the alarm is in

cell B, then we can interchange the CPRI cable with cell A (from both GTMU and

RRU), if the alarm is shifted to Cell A, then the problem was in CPRI cable. So we

need to change the CPRI cable. If CPRI cable is faulty, the CPRI 0 led will be

blinking.

4) For BBU optical module transmit receive fault, we need to check the optical

module of the CPRI cable.
