PDP Context Activation Procedure (3G)

A PDP context can be regarded as an information list that stores the signaling control information required for data services. After the signaling data is negotiated between an UE and the network, the network assign service channels to PDP contexts according to the negotiation result. In this case, the PDP context is activated and thus user data can be transmitted
between the UE and the network.  Both the UE and the network can change the signaling information of the PDP context to
improve or degrade service quality, and can also deactivate the PDP context to terminate the connection services provided for the application layer.
