A Diameter peer refers to a network entity that interworks with the UPCC through the Diameter-based Gx interface.

Alarm Mechanism

• This alarm is generated when no link is configured between the UPCC and a Diameter peer after the Diameter peer is added or when all the links between the UPCC and the Diameter peer are faulty.

• This alarm is cleared when a link between the UPCC and the Diameter peer is restored.
