Functions of the XPUb Board

the XPUb board is functionally divided into main control XPUb board and non-main control XPUb board. The main control XPUb board is used to manage the GSM user plane resources, control plane resources, and transmission resources in the system and process the GSM services on the control plane. The non-main control XPUb board is used to process the GSM services on the control plane.

Main Control XPUb Board

The main control XPUb board has eight logical subsystems.

Subsystem 0 of the main control XPUb board is the Main Processing Unit (MPU). It is used to manage the user plane resources, control plane resources, and transmission resources of the system.

Non-Main Control XPUb Board

The non-main control XPUb board has eight logical subsystems.

The eight subsystems of the non-main control XPUb board belong to the CPUS, which is used to process the services on the control plane.
