Impact on the System

Noise may occur in voice services that are carried by the interface on the board generating the alarm.
Signaling and data services may be interrupted.

Possible Causes

The clock of the MGW is faulty.
The clock of the MGW and that of the peer device are not synchronized.
The cable connected to the E1/T1 interface is loose.
The connection of the E1/T1 cable is faulty.
The transmission device or the peer device is faulty.
The cable is faulty.
Boards of the MGW are faulty.
The configuration of the TDM interface on the MGW is inconsistent with that of the TDM interface on the peer device.
