Security systems are how to plan and design the security system and finally determine security policies during designing the CNAP system.

Table: Security design

Security Design

Details

Security feature plan

Determine the hardware servers involved in SUSE Linux security policy deployment by referring to Networking Security, Platform Security and Application Security.

Security domain plan

Determine the devices connected to the CNAP server, including:

  1. (Mandatory) CNAP client
  2. (Mandatory) NE
  3. (Optional) Antivirus server

Based on telecom operators network requirements, plan security domains and IP addresses for the systems connected to the CNAP system by referring to Networking Security.

Server security policies

  • Operating system hardening policy: The operating system hardening is completed before delivery. For details about hardening policies, contact Huawei technical support for the hardening feature description of the required operating system. If enhanced configuration is required, contact Huawei technical support.

  • Networking policy for a network where the SUSE Linux antivirus solution is deployed.

User management plan

  • Plan user groups (roles) and rights based on telecom operators requirements.

  • Determine common security policies for users and passwords.
