This alarm is reported when Loss of Signal (LOS) is detected on the E1/T1 RX port.

The Signal towards the BTS may down. the main reasons for appearing this alarm are:

From our Experience we see that, due to faulty Transmission Equipment or Loose cable connection are the maximum cause for this alarm.

In Urban, Micro Wave link may interrupted due to Line of Sight Break (LOS Break), this this alarem frequently apprear and disappear.
