1. A subscriber sends an Activate PDP context/EPS bearer Request message to the UGW9811. The UGW9811 can determine whether to send a CCR-I message to the OCS server before returning an Activate PDP context/EPS bearer Response message to the subscriber. 2. The UGW9811 sends a CCR-I message to the OCS server for quota reservation. 3. The OCS server returns a CCA-I message to the UGW9811. 4. The UGW9811 returns an Activate PDP context/EPS bearer Accept message to the subscriber. 5. The subscriber sends a Service Start Request message to the UGW9811. 6. The UGW9811 sends a CCR-U message to the OCS server. The OCS server performs rating for the service based on the request and reserves a certain amount of quota in the subscribers account. 7. The OCS server returns a CCA-U message carrying the quota to the UGW9811. 8. The UGW9811 allows the subscriber to access the service and monitors the quota usage in real time. 9. The subscriber wishes to terminate the service and sends a Deactivate PDP context/EPS bearer Request message to the UGW9811. 10. The UGW9811 returns a Deactivate PDP context/EPS bearer Accept message to the subscriber. 11. The UGW9811 terminates the service and sends a CCR-T message carrying the quota usage to the OCS server. The OCS server deducts the quota according to the quota usage and returns a positive CCA-T message to the UGW9811 |
