NCP Faulty

This alarm is generated when the NodeB Control Port (NCP) communication is disrupted because the corresponding transport link fails. This alarm is cleared when the NCP communication recovers or this NCP is removed. Note that this alarm supports the anti-flashing function, which prevents the alarm from repeatedly recurring in a short period.

The corresponding transport link of the NCP is faulty.

Check the "Bearing Link Type" of the faulty NCP using LST UIUBCP command.

Check the "Operation State" of the SAAL link that carries the faulty NCP using  DSP SAALLNK command.

"Path Fault" or other Transmission alarm may be there when this alarm appear.

Data service and other service hampered severely.
