URL whitelist of UGW9811

When the balance in the user account is insufficient, the online charging system (OCS) server sends a message carrying the quota, Final Unit Indication (FUI) attribute value pair (AVP), Final Unit Action (FUA) AVP, and redirection uniform resource locator (URL) or IP address to the UGW9811. The carried information instructs the UGW9811 to redirect the service packets of a subscriber. In this manner, the UGW9811 redirects service packets to a specified URL or IP address when finding that the quota for the subscriber is exhausted.

If the service packets are in the whitelist, the UGW9811 allows the service packets to pass.

·         If the service packets are not in the whitelist, they are discarded or they are redirected to the URL delivered by the OCS server. The URL includes but is not limited to the recharge page, advertisement page, and carrier-recommended page.
