Fan Stalling

This alarm is generated when the fan box detects that one or more fans stop running or running at a too low speed. Each fan box contains nine fans. This alarm is generated when any of them is faulty.

The abnormal heat dissipation of the subrack results in high temperature in the cabinet or subrack. In this case, links may be disconnected, the board may be reset or faulty.

Other normal fans in the faulty fan box automatically run at the full speed. In this case, the noise increases obviously.

The main reasons of this alarm are:

-The power supply to a fan or the fan box is abnormal or Fan itself is/are faulty.

Need to Check the power supply to the fan box, if it not okay then change the Fan to clear the alarm.
