If no information is displayed on the terminal after the S9300 is powered on, you should check the following items:

• Whether the power supply system is normal

• Whether the SRU is normal

• Whether the cable is connected to the console port of the SRU

If no problem is found after the preceding check, the possible causes are as follows:

• The console port connected to the cable is incorrect. That is, the selected console port is different from that set on the terminal.

• The parameters set on the terminal are incorrect. The requirements for setting parameters are as follows:

  • The baud rate is 9600.
  • The data bit is 8.
  • No parity check is performed.
  • The stop bit is 1.
  • Flow control is not set.
  • The terminal emulation is VT100.

• The cable is faulty.
