· Validity time (VT) configuration After the VT expires, the UGW9811 sends a Re-Auth-Request (RAR) message to the OCS server. The OCS server delivers quotas based on the subscribers quota usage, reducing quota waste by idle services and improving quota usage efficiency. · Service push When the UGW9811 applies for quotas from the OCS server, in addition to the requested quotas, the OCS server will offer some other quotas, which can be used by subscribers to access the corresponding services. This reduces the signaling load on the OCS server and improves user experience. · Multi-service usage report The credit control request (CCR) and credit control answer (CCA) messages transmitted over the Gy interface support the multiple services credit control (MSCC) attribute value pair (AVP). One CCR or CCA message can be used for quota management and service control for multiple services in one session, reducing signaling messages exchanged between the UGW9811 and the OCS server. · Tariff switch The UGW9811 can be configured with different tariffs for various time segments, including holidays/festivals, workdays, and weekends. This enables carriers to provide service packages with diversified charging standards to encourage service usage by subscribers and increase carriers revenues. · Quota threshold The UGW9811 can be configured with various quota thresholds (for example, 10%). If a threshold is reached, the UGW9811 sends an RAR message to request new quotas, reducing impacts of the quota application action on service continuity. · Free service The UGW9811 can be configured to or not to interwork with the OCS server to report subscribers use of free services. |
