Co-TRM refers to the common management of transmission resources when the IP transmission bandwidth is shared by the GSM and UMTS services of the Multimode Base Station. Co-TRM improves the usage of transmission resources and ensures the transmission quality of services (QoS).
In the Co-TRM feature,
  • The GSM and UMTS services of the Multimode Base Station share one IP logical port (LP) if the IP over FE/GE is adopted
  • The GSM and UMTS services of the Multimode Base Station share the PPP link/MLPPP group if the IP over E1/T1 is adopted.
MBSC uniformly implement load control and traffic shaping in the shared IP LPs, PPP links, or MLPPP group.
