Gy Interface Service Flow

The Gy interface is involved in the following procedures:

·     Diameter

·     Quota management in online charging

·     OCS server selection

·     OCS server failure handling

·     OCS server charging control

·     XML file based online charging message control

·     Specifying whether or not CDRs are generated for online charging subscribers

·     Re-authentication triggered by a Re-Auth-Request (RAR) message

·     User context deactivation triggered by an Abort-Session-Request (ASR) message

·     Default quota

·     OCS server load balancing

·     Primary/secondary OCS server failover
