The Access-Network-Charging-Identifier-Gx AVP contains the charging information about the bearer network. This AVP is carried in the message sent from the PCEF to the PCRF and used for charging correlation between the PCRF and the AF.

In the Voice over LTE (VoLTE) network, the PCRF transparently transmits the Access-Network-Charging-Identifier-Value (that is, the GCID) reported by the PCEF to the AF.
