Fault Identification

The UPCC starts flow control to discard some signaling messages when it is overloaded by signaling messages and fails to provide services.

Flow control protects the UPCC from a breakdown.

The UPCC starts flow control when any of the following alarms is generated in the Browse Alarms window:

ALM-12012 Flow Control Started
ALM-30053 Flow Control Alarm

Impact of the Fault

All services are affected. The extent to which subscribers are affected depends on the extent to which the values of performance measurement entities listed in decrease.
