Debugging the BFD

This describes how to debug BFD when a fault occurs during the BFD running.

Context

When a BFD running fault occurs, you can run the debugging command in the user view to debug BFD, check debugging information, and locate and analyze the fault. For the details about the debugging command, refer to the Quidway Eudemon 8080E/8160E Command Reference.

Procedure of Debugging the BFD is as follows:

1. Run:

   terminal monitor

   The information display function of the terminal is enabled.

2. Run:

   terminal debugging

   The debugging display function of the terminal is enabled.

3. Run:

   debugging bfd { all | defect-detect | error | event | fsm | ha | packet | process | product-interface | session-management | timer }

   The debugging of the BFD module is enabled.
