(1)Isotropic Antenna

It is just a point radiation source which radiates uniform energy in all 3 dimension.

Unfortunately, an isotropic antenna cannot be  made in the real world, but it is useful for comparison with other

practical antennas.

(2)Dipole antenna

A dipole is the smallest, least gain practical antenna that can be made.
