Calculation of Power Step--Quality

Calculation of power adjustment step based on receive quality (RxQual)

? When RxQual ≥ ULQLOWTHRED/DLQLOWTHRED, the power should be increased. The adjustment step is specified by MAXADJPCVAL.

The power can be increased only when RxLev + MAXADJPCVAL ≤ ULSSHIGHTHRED/DLSSHIGHTHRED.

The value of ULQUALBADUPLEV/DLQUALBADUPLEV must be increased when RxQual ≥ ULQUALBADTRIG/DLQUALBADTRIG, so as to ensure the increase in power when RxQual is poor.

When RxQual < ULQHIGHTHRED/DLQHIGHTHRED, the power should be decreased. The adjustment step is specified by QUALSTEP.

The power can be decreased only when RxLev - QUALSTEP ≥ ULSSLOWTHRED/DLSSLOWTHRED.
