DBS3900

The DBS3900 consists of the BBU3900 and the RRU3004.

The BBU3900 is an indoor baseband unit. It provides physical interfaces for connection with the BSC and RRU.

The RRU3004 is an outdoor remote RF unit. It processes baseband signals and RF signals.

RRU stands for Remote Radio Unit.

The DBS3900 GSM (BBU3900 and RRU3004) is developed by Huawei for no-equipment room installation to save place. Generally it’s a zero footprint solution.  

The DBS3900 GSM adopts radio module remote technique, which separates a traditional base station into two parts.
