How to handle IP-NSVC link fault

1. Alarm checking: Check location information field in alarm detail  from M2000 or LMT. Subrack No.=X, Slot No.=X,
Process Type=GBP, Process No.=4, NSEI=XXXX, Local
IPAddress=X.X.X.X,
Local IP port=50039, Remote IP Address=X.X.X.X, Remote IP port=XXXX

2. Check false or genuine alarm: Execute command DSP IPNSVC=“NSEI
and check status field of NSVC state( For good case state: Operational  and for genuine alarm case state:
non-operational or absent from command output)

3. Check SGSN to BSC connectivity: If alarm is genuine we need to check connectivity from
SGSN to BSC by using ping command :
PING:
SRN=
X, SN=X or X, DIP=”Remote_IP", SIP=”Local_IP";
