Dear,
USN has functionality of both SGSN and MME to provide control
for both 3G and 4G customers. While UGW is a Universal Gateway Solution that has functionality of both SGW and PGW; where PGW is the PDN GW to connect with internet and SGW provides userplane connectivity. Hope that answers your question.
