OSS Team for network integration/support?
Hi guys,
Ive just joined this group and Im glad to find people who is involved in the same technology as me all around the world. For my first post, I want to share with you my comments regarding some situation present in my deparment and some other departments Ive visited before:
Either for Network Integration or Customer support, do you think it is necessary to have dedicated teams for Network OSS or even the whole OSS Technologies, just as Transmission, Core Network and so on? I had worked with a Network OSS team before but it was disolved, the reason is that every engineer should know about the product. I see the situation now, and I can see that the lack of specialization heads to slower performance or deeper analisis for either network deployment or customer support. What do you think? Some deparments have this teams and the performance is much better than having personnel sharing technologies. Im not sure if this is the right place to show off my comments but, as I found this group very interesting, I share my thoughts with you
