Feature Description ( Decoupling Between U2000 and NEs)

After the U2000 is decoupled from NEs, changes on NEs do not require the U2000 to be upgraded accordingly as long as interfaces between them remain the same.

[Benefits]

The L3VPN feature enables RTN devices to form E2E networks with CX devices. The use of decoupling between U2000 and NEs feature brings the benefit: The number of U2000 upgrades caused by changes on NEs is reduced.

[Application Scenario]

l   NEs on the live network are upgraded with no features added. The U2000 does not need to be upgraded accordingly.

l   A new type of NE or board is added to the live network with no features added. The U2000 does not need to be upgraded accordingly.
