I need to know the diference between the Simetric and Assimetric acouppler in microwave protected link.

symmeric has same attenuations for both the way :
"working" and " standby " device has a coupling deficit of about -3db

asymmetric has one way attenuation less then the other :
"working" has less deficit then the "standby" (typically -1.8db and -6/7db)


the exact figures depends on the requested frrequency
