DNS Networking of PS Core

In a general packet radio system (GPRS) network, DNS is introduced to implement domain name resolution function. The following procedures require domain name resolution to translating between IP and domain name: Packet Data Protocol (PDP) context activation procedures, inter-SGSN routing area update (RAU) procedures, and inter-SGSN serving RNC (SRNC) relocation procedures.
