When operating with fiber, first make sure human protection. Dont look directly to edged fiber.

When working for a edged fiber or splicing the fiber, use protective caps to the fiber end. There are two types of caps, one is hard type and another is soft type. You should use hard type protective caps because soft protective caps absorbs dust, not reliable which can damage edge of fiber, degrade performance. So, required power may not be got.
