1. At first login to U2000 using user name and password which must have required access level privilege.

2. On the NMS, choose Administration > NE Software Management > NE Data Backup/Restoration from the Main Menu.

3.In NE View, click Find. In the Find NE dialog box, set the search conditions and search for the NE that requires database backup.

4. Select the NE whose database needs to be backed up, and click Backup.

N.B.do not recover or backup data by USB flash drive during the database backup by the NMS,you can select multiple NEs to back up their data at one time by holding down Ctrl.If NMS Client is selected, you can click  to set the path in which the client data is stored.
