This feature has been available since V100R009C00SPC700/V200R009C02.

 

Summary: If the MGWs function as the NNSF, and A-interface circuits are managed by the MGW in an MSC Pool area, circuit resources are shared by all the MSC servers in the MSC Pool. This improves the maintenance and management of the A-interface circuits, and ensures stability and reliability of the A-interface circuits.

Description:

The MSC POOL Resource Protection feature provides the following functions:

 

• An MSC server in the MSC Pool is configured as the local MSC server for a BSC. The MGW preferentially sends the circuit management messages to the local MSC server of the BSC.
• The MGW can quickly reset the abnormal A-interface circuits by resetting them in batches.
• The MGW sends circuit reset messages to an available MSC server in the MSC Pool when the local MSC server is faulty.
