The MTP screening function is used to filter some special messages. If the contents of a message are related to certain specified features, the message is called a special message. A special message contains the following customized information:

 

• The link set that receives the message.
• The link set that sends the message
• The OPC in the message
• The DPC in the message
• The SIO in the message
• The H0H1 in the message
• The related signaling point information in the message

 

The screen conditions can be one or any combination of the preceding items. Based on these screen conditions, the special messages are filtered.

 

The system screens MTP messages by matching customized conditions. To be specific, the system compares the contents of a special MTP message with a series of sequential screening conditions (screening chain) to check whether the screening conditions are met. If the screening conditions are met, the system performs the operation specified by the table item. If the screening conditions are not met, the system performs the default operation.
