QoS stands for Quality of Service. conventionally, quality of a network service includes the bandwidth, transmission delay
and packet loss ratio. Therefore, to enhance the QoS is to ensure sufficient bandwidth for transmission, reduce the delay
and jitter and lower packet loss ratio. In a broad sense, QoS is influenced by various factors in network application.
Any positive measure for network applications can improve the QoS. From this aspact firewall, policy routing and forwarding are all measure to improve the QoS.

For example, the total BW is 100mbps and BT download services occupies 90mb. Therefore only 10mb BW is left for other services. If the BW for the BT download services is limited to 50mb,other services can use 50 mb BW. In this way quality of other services can be improved.

Waiting for some more experience.

Do you have any suggestions on QoS plan?

Thanks.

In our MPBN network we deploy BE policy. We have internet gateway where IT is our partner and connected to IGW. We use traffic policing to cap IT traffic..
