What is channel allocation ?

Channel allocation strategy is the process of allocating suitable channel based on MS request.

MS requests channel for immediate assignment, assignment or  handover purpose

MS informs the system about band capability, codec capability and requested Qos.

System based on all these inputs and predefined criterions select suitable channels for the MS.

Channel allocation will be different for different MS.
