The SmartAX MA5612 is an industry-leading multi-dwelling unit (MDU) that provides multiple high-speed services for residential and enterprise users. It can be flexibly configured on a passive optical network (PON) or a network deployed with traditional category-5 cables, depending on each customers capacity requirements. Featuring a broad ambient temperature range, low power consumption, quite design, and high stability, the MA5612 can be installed on desktops, in corridors or in cabinets. Features The MA5612 supports TDM E1 and PRI ports to ensure seamless transfer of traditional PBX voice service and TDM leased line service to an IP network. High Reliability The MA5612 can work in temperatures as low as -40°C and as high as 65°C for extended periods of time, and it has a 6-kV surge protection capability, both of which are better than the industry standard. In addition, the corrosion-proof design of the service boards extends the devices life, and a redundancy fan design ensures that the MA5612 continues to work properly if a single fan should fail. Energy Saving The MA5612 uses a highly efficient power supply system to reduce system power consumption. Thanks to intelligent fan adjustment technology, when the system is idle, the fan rotating speed is automatically adjusted to reduce power consumption. A high-performance SOC chipset also reduces chipset power consumption of the MA5612. Moreover, its 12-V battery can reduce operator costs on standby power sources. Applications & Benefits The MA5612 ensures seamless transfer of traditional PBX voice service and TDM leased line service to an IP network and therefore ensures operators investment gains. Its high reliability reduces the devices fault possibility and operator costs on operation and maintenance. With its energy-saving design, the MA5612 uses energy more efficiently, which in turn increases operators’ profitability. |
