The establishment of a TCP connection for an LDP session uses MD5 authentication. If one end of the connection is configured with MD5 authentication whereas the other end is not, or two ends of the connection are configured with different MD5 passwords, the TCP connection cannot be set up. In addition, if MD5 authentication in cipher text mode is implemented on a non-Huawei device in a private manner, MD5 authentication fails and a Huawei device and the non-Huawei device cannot communicate with each other.
