Internet access speed Low for RADIUS server
|
When a RADIUS server is used to allocate user bandwidth, by default, downstream CAR will schedule HQoS policies to deploy user bandwidth. Each user exclusively uses the reserved bandwidth. If a larger number of users are accessing the Internet concurrently, the total bandwidth to be reserved for users exceeds the interface bandwidth and hence no bandwidth can be allocated to new access users. The new access users then enter the default queue for scheduling. The bandwidth of the default queue is 128 kbit/s and thus the Internet access speed of these users is very low. To configure users to share bandwidth, run the qos rate-limit-mode car inbound or outbound command in the domain to which the users belong to configure the rate limit mode. The users are then scheduled based on the CAR parameters set in the QoS profile. |
