To configure rate limit for multiple IP address segments, users apply a traffic policy to different interfaces. For example, when the rate is limited to 10 Mbit/s in the traffic behavior, whether these interfaces share 10 Mbit/s bandwidth or 10 Mbit/s bandwidth is exclusive to each interface is determined by the share-mode configurations in the traffic policy.

If share-mode is configured in the traffic policy, these interfaces share 10 Mbit/s bandwidth.

If share-mode is not configured in the traffic policy, 10 Mbit/s bandwidth is exclusive to each interface.

If a traffic policy configured with share-mode is applied to different interfaces, statistics about the traffic on all the interfaces are collected. That is, the traffic policy configured with share-mode does not collect statistics about the traffic on each interface individually.

If a traffic policy not configured with share-mode is applied to different interfaces, statistics about the traffic on each interface individually are collected.
