Possible Causes

The causes of the fault in a GE cascading optical interface are as follows:

• The optical fiber of the GE optical interface on the GE switching board or the GE service board is not connected tightly or is damaged.
• The cable connection of the GE switching board and the GE service board is incorrect.
• The GE LAN Switch chip of the GE switching board is faulty.
• The GE optical module is damaged.
• The slot is faulty.
