Sometimes we got KPI alarm paging success rate is low in M2000. i am trying to describe this.

Possible causes for low paging success rate:

When a paging fails, you need to start a user message trace task. Based on analysis of traced code stream, the cause of the fault may be one of the following:

·     The communication between the MSC and the BSC is abnormal.

·     The BSC is abnormally stopped or does not respond.

·     The MSC is misconfigured.

·     The MSC cannot obtain the cell data of the subscriber from the VLR.

·     The location area/cell (service area) configuration on the core network side is different from that on the access network side.

The general troubleshooting procedure is as follows:

1.      Check whether the service processing layer sends the Paging message:

2.      Check the status of the links and signaling points connected to the BSC to see if the Paging message is sent to the BSC:

3.      Check whether the BSC sends the Page Response message to the MSC
