How can i understand that a subscriber is enabled for 3G or not? I mean what is the procedure for checking in MSC or HLR. Can anyone share your experiance.

Follow the below procedure for 3G service checking of a sub.

For 3G Voice:

you can check the parameter " General-DataCDS  (BS30)" from LST SUB command from GU-HLR. The parameter means that sub has the video call access.

 

For 3G DATA:

Check the below two parameter for a provisioned APN of a subscriber and confirm whether the sub has 3G data provision or 2G data provision.

                      MAXBRUPL = XXX K
                      MAXEXTBRDWL = XX M

 

what are the minimum values of 

                      MAXBRUPL = ?

                      MAXEXTBRDWL =?

what is maximum speed how can i get this?
