Problem: MAC Transparent Mapping(10.7G) mode cannot be enabled in TDX Board

Findings

1. Board version: TN12TDX, Port: ClientLP2
2. It is found that only the ClientLP1 port of TN12TDX supports MAC transparent mapping (10.7G) and LP2 cannot be used to configure service meaning LP2 should be free. It is hardware limitation of TN12TDX

 

Solution: Use ClientLP1 port of TN12TDX only. Otherwise TN53ND board can be used which don’t have such type of limitation.

yes, for TDX boards, only the TN12TDX has such limitation.
