Problem: Cross connect (XCS) Board Cannot be added in DWDM Subrack (OSN 6800)

 

Analysis:

1.       At first standard power consumption of the subrack is calculated and found 1415W

2.       Real power consumption found 1243W which is near to the threshold power 1350W

3.       Hence new XCS board cannot be added.

 

Solution:

1.       Remove some high power consumption board

2.       Control FAN speed.
